=>God's People in the End Times

A day of Bible Teaching led by

Chris Hill

on Saturday 14th March 2009 10.00am - 4.30pm

In Matthew 24:6 the Lord declares "You will hear of wars and rumours of wars...." He talks of famines, earthquakes and nations rising against nations - but He also says "....see to it that you are not alarmed."

God, the maker of heaven and earth, is in control. he is working out His eternal plans; He doesn't slumber and He doesn't sleep. Our security rests in His purposes. His character, and the fact that He has a destiny for all His people.

Chris will lead three teaching sessions during the day, and will be linking together Father's purposes in the past, the present and the future. This will lead us into exploring the Lord's purposes for Israel in the end times and how these relate to the church.

These are not simple issues; Chris will carefully open up scripture and equip you to go away and consider these matters for yourself. Having an accurate sense of destination affects the way in which we journey forward. It is vital to know that Father is consciously bringing all things to completion in Himself. therein we need not be alarmed.

Drinks and a light lunch are included in the price of £20 per person

Regular Favourites at the Hall

=> Evenings of Praise & Worship
We are continuing in 2009 these opportunities to join with the Team and friends to explore the wonder and grace of Father God, the glory and humanity of Jesus Christ, and the presence and refining power of the Holy Spirit.

The evenings are an opportunity to:

=> Give thanks to the Lord for His goodness to us

=> Sing to Him and enjoy his presence

=> Relax and hear His voice

=> Respond to His love and His faithfulness

=> Be moved by the presence of the Holy Spirit

=> Enjoy a time of caring and sharing with each other

These are open evenings so all are welcome! We begin at 8.00pm and finish at around 10.00pm. Members of the Pilgrims Hall Team are available for prayer ministry if required.

There is no charge for the evening but an offering will be taken.

=> Women's Days
These are normally held on the second Thursday of each month from 10.00am - 2.30pm (excluding April and August)

Over the years the chance for women to gather together has been a valued ministry at Pilgrims Hall. These days are set aside to give the opportunity to share, worship, study God's Word and pray together.

Hosted by the women on team, with a varied programme of invited guest speakers throughout the year, each day has a unique and individual flavour. These are times of encouragement, challenge, growth and affirmation.

There is no need to book in advance, just come on the day. There is no formal charge, although an offering will be taken on the day.

Drinks are provided, but please bring a packed lunch. Unfortunately we are unable to provide creche facilities.
